If you’re planning a trip to Indonesia, it’s important to know what requirements you will need to meet in order to enter the country. These can vary between different embassies and consulates, so contacting the embassy or consulate for more information is always a good idea.

First and foremost, you’ll need a valid passport that is still in date. You may also need a visa for your intended destination. Generally, you’ll need to have at least six months validity left on your passport after entering Indonesia to avoid being denied entry into the country perpanjangan paspor.

You can apply for an Indonesian visa at the embassy or consulate nearest you, and many Embassies/Consulates allow you to download and fill out the application form online before you arrive. If you don’t have access to internet, you can fill out the application form on paper and bring it with you when you visit the embassy or consulate in person.

Another requirement is proof of travel arrangements, such as a flight itinerary. You can provide a copy of your travel itinerary, or you can submit an electronic ticket reservation, which shows dates of entry and exit into Indonesia. The embassy or consulate will use this document to determine if you are eligible for a visa, and it should be clearly visible from the front of your passport.

Baby’s Passport Photo

If your child is under 1 year of age, they’ll need to present a digital photo (usually a colour image of themselves). You can find instructions on how to take a baby’s photo here.

Be sure to include the baby’s eyes, and make sure the photo is taken with a white background. Alternatively, you can get a passport photograph done at a professional studio.

Other documents required for an Indonesian passport include a birth certificate, a medical report, and a marriage certificate. Children’s passports must have the parents’ signature and date of birth, as well as their full name, place of residence, and nationality.

In addition, the holder of a Indonesian passport must have a visa for their country of origin. This is especially true if they plan to travel outside of Indonesia for the first time.

You can also request an emergency visa for your home country in the event of an emergency. This is especially important if you are travelling in a country where a natural disaster occurs.

For example, if you are visiting a country where there is an ongoing drought, you may be asked to present your health insurance policy and proof of vaccination.

The Indonesian government recognizes UK NHS vaccine certificates, but you’ll need to check that your certificate has been verified by the UK Government before you can use it for travel.

As a precautionary measure, you should also carry enough travel medicine to treat any illnesses that might arise while in Indonesia, and ensure your vaccines are current. In addition, it’s a good idea to visit a travel clinic for any other medications or supplies you might need during your stay.
